Many generic names, names of public interest, and reserved names will not be immediately available because, given its mission and for reasons of relevance, the PointQuébec Register wishes to reserve them for later attribution.
ONGOING / MUNICIPALITIES, REGIONS AND PUBLIC SERVICES PROGRAM
It is now possible to request the domain names of municipalities, regions, tourist sites and public services that have been set aside for their respective use to better serve the Quebec community.
The registration of these names is reserved for holders explicitly linked to these domain names. For example, the domain name “lanaudiere.quebec” is intended solely for the regional tourism association in the Lanaudière region. Similarly, “montreal.quebec” is of course intended to the city of Montreal.
This program is set up for a limited time.
